At Chef’s Table By Chef Stephan, a meal begins with guests crossing out ingredients they prefer to avoid. With those pleasantries out of the way, the meal itself is a joyous surprise of dishes using the freshest seasonal ingredients. This very intimate and interactive dining affair is hosted by Austrian chefs Stephan Zoisl and Lorenz Raich on the first floor of a reclaimed shophouse along Tras Street. With no boundaries between the kitchen and dining area, guests can banter with the chefs and learn about the food served. “We want people to not only enjoy the flavours of the food, but also get to know the ingredients behind the dish and how they come together on the plate,” said Zoisl, who grows an urban garden within the restaurant’s premises. Diners can choose from four-, six- or eight-course menus.
